West Coast Swing (WCS) is a contemporary style of swing dance that draws from many other dances, such as traditional swing, latin, ballroom and hip-hop. WCS is danced to much of today's popular music, including R&B, top 40, and blues.

Jon Schimmel runs a program of weekly dance lessons and dances with Bill Cameron, Yuna Davtyan, Dani Mullin and others. Most of the lessons and dances are held at 56 Pond Lane in Arlington, MA. In addition, Jon coordinates with and supports cross-promotion among a number of other dance programs in the greater Boston area. Our goal is to provide an open and shared dance environment for the benefit of all our dance patrons.
